We are thrilled to share that Mammo.com had the unique opportunity to be involved in NBC’s upcoming mockumentary, St. Denis Medical, premiering November 12th at 8pm. Our journey to the set began with an unexpected call from NBC’s prop master, who reached out as they were developing this new show centered around the quirky day-to-day operations of a fictional medical facility. The show needed a mammography system for one of its episodes, and Mammo.com was happy to help.
It was exciting to see our work translate into the world of entertainment, especially in a project that puts a spotlight on the medical field and the challenges healthcare professionals face. In this light-hearted yet insightful mockumentary, St. Denis Medical brings attention to the humorous yet complex dynamics within the medical industry—a field we know intimately.
Our involvement extended beyond just providing equipment. Two of our dedicated team members had the privilege of being on set as extras during the filming. The show’s creators were committed to accuracy, even bringing real doctors and nurses onto the set to help actors portray their roles with a level of realism that would resonate with audiences.
This was a fun project to be a part of and we’re happy to have contributed to a show that celebrates the healthcare community, even in a comedic setting.
As the premiere date approaches, we look forward to tuning in and spotting our contribution. Who knows—maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of Mammo.com as you enjoy the show! We can’t wait to see how it all comes together and are honored to have been part of this project. Make sure to mark your calendars for November 12th on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
